Morning Trail

This is part 3 in a series of blog posts that I am dedication to my favorite photos of 2009. Today’s inductee and now a resident in my “Outdoor Adventure” photo album is “Morning Trail“. I took this photo Mar 14, 2009 early in the morning as the sun was just coming over South Sentinel. I like this scene because it is the classic Missoula experience if you are a mountain biker. You come rolling back into town from Pattee Canyon and your greeted with a view of the city.

On this particular morning I was meeting with some friends at City Brew for some scones and web site work. I thought I would rip off a morning ride to see the trail conditions.

Tonight is the TNR hike and I am planning on going out early to put in my final night of a hard block of training. I am looking forward to meeting up with the group to exchange stories, ideas, and philosophies. And, I might just see more people sporting newly screwed shoes.

Remember in two weeks is Race Across The Sky!
